- Why an Hispanic Business Awards
- The Hispanic Community is on need of better representation and opportunities to showcase the best of it.
- The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce planned the creation of this event since the Summer of 2007 as a yearly event to award the best representatives of the Hispanic community and Canadian community related to the Hispanics.
- All funds collected due to this event will be for the setup of a trading office where the Canadian Hispanic Business Network will enable all Hispanics, with business contacts in Latin-America, to put them to the service of the Canadian Business Community.
- Code of Ethics and Transparency
- This event will be conducted with absolute transparency and under the highest ethic standards.
- Nominees and winners will not be obligated to purchase a table or become sponsors as a condition to accept the nomination or prize.
- The selection of the awarded persons and companies will be performed by the Judging Panel of the THCC Business Advisory Board, a group of highly influential and credible business people.
- Nomination is private and will not be disclosed.
- Selection of winners is private and will not be disclosed until the day of the event.
- Finalists will not be announced publicly so they can be nominated on the next year.
- None of the Directors, Executives or Volunteers will be involved on the selection of the winners. Nominations are on the hands of the Judging Panel all the time up to the moment of releasing the names of the winners until the night of the event by a closed envelope.
- A verification consisting on confirming the business ownership and existance of the corporation will be executed by Centennial College and Schulich School of Business.
- About the attendees:
- The event will count with close to 20 diplomatic from Latin-America and other countries, along with trade commissioners who will become our guests of honor.
- Also joining our guests and to strength our relationships with other international chambers of commerce, the event will count with presidents of other international chambers of commerce.
- From the USA, we are inviting representatives of United Nations and the United States Chamber of Commerce
- About the event
- The dress code will be business formal.
- The main room of the Toronto Board of Trade will be open at 5:00pm and the event start at 6:00pm
- The event is planned to finish at 9:00pm but guests can stay until midnight for an after party.
- All attendees will enjoy of a selection of Latin-American classics by a cords quartet.
- Attendees will enjoy a full meal dinner with options between meat and vegetarian food. Menu will be informed in advance for your selection.
- Cash bar is available.
- Several prizes will be given away in a draw using the number on your door ticket.
- Special draws will require a purchase of an additional ticket for an small amount.

- Annual report: At the event, a copy of the annual report will be provided to the attendees. Also, a copy of the Hispanic Business Magazine will be distributed.
