who have achieved excellence and continue to strive for it.

The THCC VISION Showcase Award 2013 will celebrate six Canadian Hispanic business leaders in Toronto, each of whom has achieved excellence in their field, making a positive impact on the community. These Businesses and Entrepreneurs will be presented to the audience and become award recipients in the following categories: Young Entrepreneur, Entrepreneur, Small Business, Retail, Arts & Culture, and Career Achievement Award*.

The business and achievements of each award recipient will be showcased in a video presentation focusing on their accomplishments, expertise and professional contributions.

A business chosen by the selection committee from the pool of all accepted nominations received across all categories, will be awarded the grand prize, for ‘Business of the Year’. This business will be the best of our best, embodying all of the highest attributes of entrepreneurship and community involvement.

In addition to these six awards, the VISIONARY Award will be presented to one Outstanding Entrepreneur who is a source of inspiration to us all.  In 2012, Mr. Anthony Lacavera, CEO of Wind Mobile was selected as the Recipient of the 2012 VISIONARY Award.

*The ‘Career Achievement Award’ category is not eligible for the ‘Business of the Year’ award as the nominations submitted under that category represent individual professionals, not a business as a whole.
